loubishark
— Christian Louboutin, renowned for his signature shiny, red-lacquered soles, has been capturing our hearts since he opened his Paris fashion house in 1991. Twenty-nine years on, he has not lost his flair, proving once again that he’s a step ahead of his time by flouting established codes, and releasing a new sneaker design, the Loubishark.

Its exaggerated proportions and its white calfskin vamp are a strikingly beautiful contrast with an XXL sole. Its style ‘in motion’ seems inspired by the athletics shoes from the 1970s. And, you’ve guessed it, the serrated profile of the shark sole, mimics the jaws of a shark while keeping the house’s signature scarlet red.
In the crazy sole, a practiced eye will be able to see a nod to the spikes on classic shoes design. In September 2020, the exclusive pre-launch of this sassy new model (limited to 600 numbered pairs), was a resounding success. Audacity and quality have crossed paths in this sneaker which is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
