On June 25, France.tv Slash will raise the curtain on the long-awaited series Drag Race France, a French adaptation of the American reality show, RuPaul’s DragRace.
The first season trains the spotlight on ten queens from all over France (and beyond !), who will fight it out on the Parisian stage and reveal their talents with grace, poetry and eccentricity, not to mention a touch of fancy and fashion. The cast stands out by the contestants’ passion and diversity – these queens are proud of where they come from and are determined
The challenges are either individual or collective, and the contestants will have to perform lipsyncs, design costumes or take center stage for satirical “reading” or acting. The dynamic jury is presided by Nicky Doll, a drag queen famous for her participation in the twelfth season of RuPaul’s DragRace, with presenter and actress Daphné Bürki, and the singer, dancer (vogueing) and ardent defender of LGBTQIA+ rights, Kiddy Smile.
There’s only one last thing to say: racers, start your engines and may the best drag queen win!
